Martha’s Mission Cupboard (MMC) is a local emergency food bank based in Morehead City, NC, providing grocery and personal items to families and individuals.

The ministry is a major outreach focus for st-francis-by-the-sea-salter-path:

• Food Recoveries: Over 30 parishioners regularly collect food from local grocery stores to deliver to MMC, reducing food waste and supplying a substantial portion of the food distributed.
• Food Drives: Major collections are held during Lent and Lobsterfest, securing thousands of items annually.
• Super Bowl of Caring: Held each February, featuring a parish soup lunch alongside canned goods and cash donations.
