The music program at st-francis-by-the-sea-salter-path is a vital component of parish worship, serving to connect the congregation, cottagers, and homebound parishioners.

The Choir

• Membership: Approximately 20 volunteer members.
• Affiliation: Affiliate member of The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM), utilizing Voice for Life methods in choral training.
• Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 4:30–6:00 PM and Sundays at 9:00 AM.
• Guest Choristers: Visitors are welcome to sing with the choir to experience choral singing in the church's "perfectly tuned acoustic bowl."

Instruments

• Allen Organ: Two manuals.
• Steinway Grand Piano: M-series grand piano.
• Glockenspiel: The historic first instrument used to accompany hymn-singing at Saint Francis.

Congregational Favorites

• Signature Anthem: "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace: The Prayer of Saint Francis" is especially dear to the congregation. A notable recording features a congregation of approximately 300 people singing it on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.
